  • In order to grow climate-positive impact, the new platform connects consumers with ecopreneurs through a transparent, trusted carbon credit marketplace. Additionally, the announcement was included in the Salesforce Winter 23 release, which aims to expand Salesforce Net Zero Cloud to support businesses in measuring and lowering carbon emissions.
  • The first group of carbon credit providers comprising Climate Impact Partners, Cloverly, Lune, Pachama, Native, A Public Benefit Corporation, Respira International, and South Pole are built on Commerce Cloud. Calyx Global Sylvera and CO2.com, two independent rating agencies, also joined as founding partners

Partnerships

The major alliance, with WhatsApp, will change the way that businesses interact with their customers. Additionally, Salesforce strengthened its connection to AWS. Amazon SageMaker, AWS’s machine learning (ML) modeling solution, is now available to Salesforce clients alongside Einstein. For the first time, it enables clients to select an AI engine outside of the Salesforce ecosystem without having to remove data from the system. Along with Salesforce Genie and Amazon Ads integration, the agreements add even more marketing data to the platform for users to employ.
